The second week of the Monthly Ladder Wars is coming to a close and we have had some changes in the top ranks. The top 4 players at the end of the month will be dueling for a chance to win some great prizes. Last week we announced the first round of random prize winners. In the Monthly Ladder Wars, you don't have to be the best to win! We will be sending participants C&C prizes randomly throughout the program, so play on the ladder today for a chance to win!

INTERVIEW WITH METHUSELAH

Before we look at this week's ranks, I had a chance to do a short interview with Game Replay's C&C Director Methuselah to get his take on the new Monthly Ladder Wars Program.

 

2POC: So what do you think of the new "Monthly Ladder Wars" for Red Alert 3, Kane’s Wrath and Tiberium Wars?

Methuselah: I love them! I cut my teeth on Tiberian Sun and that was how it was back then. I remember fondly trying to do my best each month to finish as high as I could...knowing I stood no chance at any of the prizes of the Hall of Fame, it was still a blast. It is great that you guys are awarding random players every month!

 

2POC: How do you think it’s gone so far?

Methuselah: I think it is off to a terrific start. Over 13,000 players have played on 6,150 matches in two and a half weeks. That seems pretty clear to me.

 

2POC: How do you handicap the proceedings so far?

Methuselah: I think it’s wide open at this point. Lots of familiar faces…Technique (twice), vOddy (twice), firgli, Wanted, and many, many others. All of them have a shot. That is part of the beauty of the whole thing.

 

2POC: Anything else you’d like to add?

Methuselah: On behalf of the entire Command & Conquer community I’d like to thank EA for putting this on. This is going to be great theater for most of us to watch….and then we get to do it all over again next month!

[ADT]yzzd--SS holds position at rank 3, while firgli jumps into the fray from off the charts. Can super_cast rise back up to the top 4? Will the Ladder Season 3 champion return to the throne this month? vOddy battles into the mix at rank 2. This star has done well in previous ladder seasons, so I expect him to do further damage in the top ranks.

Milk_inc_OwnZ holds the #1 spot this week, and -Cloverfield^ has jumped from rank 4 into second place. GreasyxEpidemic continues to sit on his bronze position, while AoeNiaN drops to rank 5. AoeNiaN and vOddy are gunning for both the Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath ladders, so stay tuned to see if they make it to the top!
